A popular YouTube star and singer is now unrecognizable after returning to the spotlight having been ‘missing’ for months.
Cameron Hardy, now 24, first shot to fame as a teenage singing performing covers of hit pop songs on YouTube.
After going viral with a cover of Selena Gomez‘s Bad Liar in 2017, Hardy scored his own record deal and released a number of singles before seemingly vanishing.
He sparked concern among fans over his disappearance, but Hardy is now back with a shocking new look thanks to a major makeover.
Before and after photos of the singer show him not only looking drastically slimmer, but also sporting a new nose.
His face also appears much more chiseled than before.
‘Look, if you pull up some old photos of me, yeah, it’s obvious I look a lot different. And yeah, I’ve made some changes – I’m not gonna pretend I haven’t,’ he admitted to DailyMail.com.

‘But it wasn’t necessarily about being obsessed with anything. I wasn’t staring at my nose every day, but I definitely didn’t feel like it was my best feature. Now, I look at it and I’m really happy with the way it’s turned out,’ he continued.
‘It’s just part of a bigger change — I started taking better care of myself, eating healthier, working out, and cutting out some toxic habits. It’s really about what makes me feel good, and let’s be real, everyone has insecurities. Even people in this industry.’
He added, ‘The most important thing is being honest with yourself and making the changes that make you happy. So yeah, I did what I did, and I’m glad I did.’
The I Thought You Were Lonely singer lost over 60lbs as part of his transformation, but insists that it’s all down to diet and exercise – not Ozempic.
‘I’ve focused on making healthier choices and staying active, which has made all the difference,’ he said.
While Hardy says that he’s never felt more confident than he does now, he admits that he didn’t always have such high self-esteem.
‘Being on social media and being thrust into the spotlight at such a young age definitely contributed to my insecurities,’ he said.

‘I didn’t fully understand the impact it would have. There were a lot of times when I was comparing myself to others, and that messed with my head. But I’ve gotten better at it. It’ll always be a work in progress, especially with social media these days. I know I’m not alone in that.’
Thankfully, Hardy’s fans have embraced his new look so far.
‘I’ve been really grateful for the support. It’s nice to see people being kind,’ he said.
‘But honestly, I’m just excited for everyone to focus more on the music, because that’s what really matters to me. The way I look is just a small part of the bigger picture.’
The 24-year-old is now hard at work on a brand new album after his lengthy hiatus.
‘I think that some people probably thought I’d never come back,’ he said.
‘The reality is, the music industry is tough – there’s a lot of complexities that people don’t see, or even care about,’ he continued.
‘Starting out so young, I had a lot to figure out, but I’m back, and I’m working on an album. I’m hoping you’ll be hearing the new stuff this year. The production is bigger this time around – it’s definitely more mature than ever before.’
