FROM a drug-fuelled sex binge, boozy bust-ups and infidelity, to scuffles with the law and spiralling mental health issues, the Kardashian sisters have had to deal with it all from the men in their lives over the years.
It is no wonder the jaw-dropping drama has kept the world hooked on their reality show for almost two decades.
As a new Netflix documentary tells the shocking story of how Khloe Kardashian’s ex Lamar Odom almost lost his life in a Las Vegas brothel, we take a look at the scandals and heartbreak that have besieged the clan – but haven’t broken their spirit and have kept them in the headlines.
Lamar Odom certainly had it all. He was one of the NBA’s biggest basketball stars and marriage to Khloe Kardashian had propelled him onto the Hollywood A-list.
But In 2015 he was found unresponsive at the Love Ranch, a brothel outside Las Vegas.
His life had spiralled into secret drug and sex addiction that loyal Khloe had desperately tried to keep secret while she got him help.
But when Lamar refused to go to rehab, Khloe filed for divorce and he headed to the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada for the drugs and sex binge that almost killed him.
In Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, he recalls: “I had like 12 strokes and six heart attacks dude. Like that’s not no average s**t. I was dead for three days. I made it though.”
While he appeared to be flying high on the basketball court, behind closed doors Lamar was a secret drug addict and cheating on Khloe.
He recalls: “I can remember one night going to Big Bear. I’m getting high outta my f*****g mind.
“The girl that I was with at the time she must’ve been so blown back by it that she must’ve took my phone and contacted my wife.”
Khloe adds: “I’m calling him again. He’s missing. I can’t find him. And then out of the blue I get this call.
“I’m like hello? And she’s like, ‘Hi, I’ve been f***ing your husband, he is so f***ed up, and he just keeps wanting money and drugs and I’ve got to get off this ride, so could you come and pick him up?
“She was like, ‘I called your mom a bit ago because I didn’t know if I should call you’. I never knew for sure he was sleeping with other people. Of course I had suspicions but I never had anything tangible.”
Lamar says: “I can remember taking a big line of cocaine. And all I hear is ‘Lammy’. And I see Kris Jenner’s face come around the doorway.”
Eventually Khloe was advised to stage an intervention and tell Lamar he had to go to rehab and if he didn’t complete the three month programme she would divorce him.
Khloe says: “I did my speech and he said, ‘All I want is my passport, let’s get the f***ing divorce’. I was looking around like, ‘Wait, wait, I don’t want the divorce, you guys told me I had to say this’.
“Lamar left immediately, was like, ‘We’re getting the divorce and I’m never coming back here again’.”
As soon as he signed the divorce papers Lamar knew he wanted to go on a bender – at the Nevada Love Ranch.
But after two days of partying he was found unconscious in his room after apparently overdosing on cocaine and sexual enhancers.
With the divorce not yet finalised, Khloe was still his next of kin and rushed to his hospital bedside.
“This is my husband,” she says. “Through sickness and health I have to be there for him. I was going to do everything I could to make sure he has the best fighting chance. And I just trusted myself more than I trusted anyone else in his circle.”
He had a lot of brain damage on the left side of his body, and his lungs had collapsed. His ex Liza, and the couple’s children, flew to Las Vegas to say their goodbyes to him.
But miraculously, after three days in a coma he woke up and was flown to Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA to continue his treatment.
Lamar says: “When I woke up I couldn’t hold my bowels. So you can imagine the humility of being in Cedars Sinai… ‘Yeah I won two championships. I’m Lamar Odom, I can’t walk, I can’t talk’.
“They come to check my diaper. My wife was around me, she helped wipe some of the s*** up.”
When he was discharged, Khloe rented a house for him with a chef and a caretaker to start his rehabilitation – which was to be short-lived, as she found him there smoking crack.
She kicked him out and filed for divorce a second time.
Sister Kim’s marriage to Kanye West in 2014 made them the ultimate A-list power couple.
Kim and the billionaire rapper went on to have four children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm – before Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences following bizarre public outbursts from West.
But after their split West seemed to spiral even further out of control. In October 2022 he made a series of anti-Semitic posts on social media, which led to his Instagram being restricted and then being barred from Twitter.
His deal with Adidas was terminated causing him to lose his billionaire status, and Gap, Balenciaga, and Vogue quickly cut ties as well.
But he continued to make controversial comments, leading to him being isolated further from the music and fashion industries.
After facing widespread backlash, he apologised to the Jewish community, notably in December 2023, and again in a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal in January 2026, where he cited “neurological damage” from a 2002 car accident as contributing to his behaviour.
Kylie Jenner’s ex Travis Scott has been beset by legal troubles and controversy for years.
But tragedy struck in 2021 during his performance at the Astroworld festival in Houston.
Ten people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured during a crowd surge.
He faced criticism as the show continued despite people begging for help during the crush, but Scott later said he wasn’t aware of the severity of the situation.
Though Scott faced potential charges after one of the injured attendees sued him for $1million, a Texas grand jury decided not to indict him in June 2023.
Back in 2015 the rapper was performing at Lollapalooza where he was charged with disorderly conduct after encouraging fans to brace security and rush the stage.
Two years later, Scott saw himself in a similar situation when he was arrested for allegedly inciting a riot by encouraging fans to storm the stage at his gig in Arkansas. He eventually took a plea deal for a misdemeanour disorderly conduct.
Just two years after the Astroworld tragedy, he was in trouble again after a night out at a New York club where he allegedly punched a sound engineer in the face and caused thousands of dollars of damage to equipment. But A month later, the rapper reportedly settled the case with no charges.
Then in June 2024 Scott was arrested after a night out in Miami on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing on a property after a warning. He was thrown in the cells before his lawyer said the case was resolved amicably.
But just two months later he was arrested again in Paris after a fight with his bodyguard.
Kylie and Scott started dating in 2017 and welcomed their first child in 2018. The couple split in October 2019 and later got back together, announcing in 2021 that Jenner was expecting their second child.
Their final breakup was revealed in early 2023 and they have remained on amicable terms as they co-parent.
Jenner has been dating actor Timothee Chalamet since the split.

The pair’s chaotic and passionate romance was central to the show for years- and despite the mess, Disick remains a close part of the Kardashian clan.
The couple have three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, and had an on-off relationship between 2006 to 2015, which was marred by Scott’s struggles with substance abuse, partying and cheating.
Disick’s issues with drugs and alcohol have seen him enter rehab several times, most recently in 2020, although he said this was to help him deal with his trauma after losing both his parents in quick succession.
And after her trauma with Lamar Odom, fans were willing Khloe to have some better luck in love. But it wasn’t to be. She started dating NBA player Tristan Thompson in 2016 with Khloe gushing she’d ‘never been in this type of love’.
Their daughter True was born two-years-later but they happy news was overshadowed after Tristan was pictured being intimate with another woman.
In true Khloe style she tried to weather the storm, but the couple split in 2019 after Tristan was spotted kissing her sister Kim’s best friend Jordan Woods.
But the on-off relationship continued behind closed doors, repeatedly dogged by rumours of Tristan’s womanising ways, and the fact that he admittedly fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols.
But by 2022 the couple had welcomed their second child together via a surrogate – but the relationship couldn’t last.
The pair remain close, co-parenting their children.
