The Sun revealed last year that Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas and former professional footballer Jimmy Bullard had an explosive row while filming the pre-recorded series in South Africa.

Now, Scarlett has shared an insight into what really happened between some of the contestants.

The TV personality admitted that non-consensual “lad banter” was behind the rifts.

Ahead of the new series, which airs on Monday, Scarlett told press: “It wasn’t as harmonious as the first time I went in, only because I think we were all such big characters.

I’m A Celeb’s Ashley Roberts stunned as David Haye bares bum in shower

“I think a lot of it is this thing with like – and I’m going to put it in quotes here – like ‘lad banter’, but banter is only banter if it’s with like consenting adults if everyone participating wants to participate in the banter.”

She added: “I think sometimes some people didn’t want to be involved but were even though they didn’t want to be.”

Meanwhile, Olympian Mo Farah revealed he’d been left out of the group WhatsApp group titled I’m A Celeb Legends 2026, the Mail reported.

David Haye, 45, is said to be the group admin but Mo seemed to not have been included in the group.

It comes after we revealed that Adam, 37, flew into a fit of rage leaving Jimmy, 47, blindsided following a high-stakes challenge.

Speaking at the launch event last month ahead of the series return, Adam said: “It was completely different compared to the last series that I did – it was so much more tougher.

“Although I did quite a lot of trials in the first series, these were so much bigger and harder than ever before.

“So it was tough, there’s no denying that. And I feel like I had my moments in there, like we all did. But I’m glad that I did it.”

All Stars last aired in 2023 when singer Myleene Klass won and it was filmed in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

This year Adam and ex-footballer Jimmy join a whole host of former campmates in a battle to be the ultimate legend.

Emmerdale star Adam finished behind Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett first time around in 2016 and will be hoping to nab the crown this time in a live final held in London.
