AT least one person has been killed and dozens more injured ahead of a grudge football match in Peru.
Hundreds had gathered at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium for a “flag-waving event” ahead of a derby between home team Allianza Lima and bitter rival Universitario.
The club, based in the Peruvian capital of Lima, offered condolences and solidarity for the casualties.
