A CELEBRITY Big Brother winner has paid tribute after his cousin was killed when a pony and trap crashed into a tipper truck.
Paddy Doherty revealed that Ka, 3, and Francie Connors died on Wednesday while mum, Rita, fights for her life in hospital.
The reality TV star named the victims as his relatives Ka Connors, 3, her dad Francie and mum Rita in a social media post.
The cart they were riding in on the A228, near Tonbridge in Kent, collided with a white DAF tipper truck heading the same way at around 6.30pm.
Francie and the pony died at the scene while Ka and Rita were raced to hospital.
The three-year-old tragically died and her mum remains in a critical condition.
Police have arrested the 29-year-old truck driver and he remains in police custody.
Paddy Doherty spoke about the “travesty” in a video posted to Facebook.
He said the cart was hit by a “juggernaut” – killing the dad, daughter and their horse.
“The girl was three years of age, a little princess” he told his followers.
Rita, who also has three sons, was rushed to hospital for brain surgery and Paddy said: “I pray to God that he will leave the mother behind.”
He added that he hopes the police will “find out what’s what” during their investigation.
In a later video Paddy said: “My heart’s broke over that young boy and his daughter
He added: “Imagine going for a ride in a horse cart, there’s not more beautiful in the world. We call it a drive, a nice little country drive, his wife, his child and him, within a split blink gone, their lives are gone.”
Paddy thanked all those praying for the parents of Francie and for Rita in a third clip and posted photos of the family.
