IRAN has reportedly put a bounty on the heads of American pilots after the regime claimed to have downed a US fighter jet.

Pictures purporting to show the wreckage of a US warplane were released earlier today, with media in Tehran alleging that a pilot had ejected over its territory.

Iran has previously spouted propaganda to strengthen its public image, but Washington frequently dismisses reports from state TV and claims of downed enemy aircraft have often turned out to be false.

The television channel in Iran’s Kohkilouyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province – intensely rural and mountainous region that spans over 6,000 miles – were forced to claim a plane had been shot down.

It said police want Iranians to hand over any downed American pilots alive to security agencies to receive a lucrative prize.

The US has not responded to requests for comment.

The chaos on the ground comes after Trump warned that the US “hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran” – as he vowed to hammer the regime’s key bridges and power plants.

America blitzed the tallest bridge in Iran on Thursday killing eight people and injuring another 95 in the devastating strike.

Promising to unleash fresh devastation on Tehran, the president wrote: “Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran.

“Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants!

“New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!”

Despite Trump’s threats, Iran has continued to strike targets across the Middle East.

This morning they set fire to Kuwait’s Mina al-Ahmadi oil refinery.

Sirens also sounded in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as officials destroyed several Iranian drones.

Tehran faced retaliatory attacks from Israel after strikes were reported in the capital and the central city of Isfahan.
