GERWYN PRICE joked that the hassle and relief of finally buying a farm helped him win the Premier League Darts in Manchester.
The World No.9 stormed to his second Premier League night victory to go second in the table, beating Gian van Veen in the final.

And Price, 41, says the experience gave him some confidence as he secured a 6-2 win over the Dutchman.
He said: “I think it was stress of the farm and waiting for it to complete for the last couple of weeks and it completed today.
“So it gave me a bit of confidence, ease the pressure and went on to win so happy days.
“I think when I hit the back-to-back nine darters in Belfast, I had a similar night, just missing a nine-darter tonight. I hit one in 2025 and 2024 in Manchester.
“I would have just took two points tonight. I’ll take the five points and win, couple of pound in the bank.
“I think it’s that tight, even with Josh two weeks on the bounce if he wins, it can go any way.
“I think I’ve got half a foot in (the O2 finals) but over the next two or three weeks if I can pick up two points each week, that’s all I target. I’m not looking too far ahead yet.”
He also admitted he feels “for the kid” Luke Littler after getting backlash from a fiery clash Manchester.

While Price was the overall winner, the story of the night was Littler’s stage spat with Dutchman Van Veen.
Van Veen gave The Nuke a death stare after catching him celebrating him missing a dart to win their quarter-final.
Littler then angrily waved his arms at Van Veen before eventually also fluffing his chance to win the match. They then exchanged a frosty handshake before the teen sensation stormed off stage.
Price said: “I’ve been in that situation and I feel for the kid at the minute. I’ve won tonight, that’s all I’m bothered about.
“Things like this happen in darts. I’m sure in a couple of weeks, it’ll been done and dusted, gone and we’ll move on.
“I’ve been in that situation, that’s part and parcel of darts. Emotions ride high, emotions are up and down and people get hyped up. It is what it is.
“Sometimes you need to be peed off and get those reactions, what’s the point? If you don’t want to win so much, you don’t get those reactions. You regret some of the things you do.
“If you are not up for it in the game, sometimes that happens. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it.
“I’ve been there. The backlash off it, probably Luke will have a bit of it. A couple of weeks it will be gone. I’m not in that position and happy with it.”
