DEREK CHISORA and Deontay Wilder throw down at the O2 Arena this weekend in what promises to be an epic heavyweight slugfest.
The duo, 42 and 40 respectively, top the bill at the North Greenwich dome on Saturday night in a clash of ageing heavyweights.
Both men are shells of their former selves, which is what makes their showdown so exciting.
That being said, Chisora is still, on his day, able to overwhelm his opponents with suffocating pressure – just ask Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin.
And although he’s only won two of his last six outings and looks devoid of confidence, Wilder is still arguably the hardest-hitting single puncher in all of boxing.
Both men’s respective strengths and limitations make for a potentially fascinating firefight, which SunSport’s star-studded No Glove Lost panel were on hand to predict.

The latest panel included former three-time world title challenger Anthony Yarde, Chisora’s sparring partner Bryant Jennings and Del Boy’s former foe – ex-WBA heavyweight champion David Haye.
Bryant Jennings
He said: “I’m going with Derek. I believe that Derek definitely does have what it takes physically.
“He’s like a raging bull at all times and if your feet aren’t well, which Deontay’s feet are not as good, Derek can make it very hard for you.
“And very awkward with the switching up with this hand and switching up with that hand.

“And being guided and trained by London Shootfighters, which they are very tactical, very tactical [team].
“A lot of times people used to be like, ‘Well, you know, they’re not.’ Nah, [they’re] very tactical. It’s gonna be a long night for Wilder.
“And I do believe with the ethics that Derek trains under, as far as not taking any shortcuts and putting it all on the line, I think it’s gonna be a very long night for Wilder.
“Wilder for sure has the equaliser within his DNA. But is it still an active equaliser? And that’s gonna be the difference in the fight.”
Jenning’s prediction: Chisora via stoppage
Anthony Yarde
The Beast From The East said: “I really do like Wilder.
“I’m still a massive fan of Wilder and the entertainment he brought back to boxing [and] the heavyweight division. I miss it
“Sometimes I go back and watch the highlights [of him] screaming, ‘Bomb Squad.’ But Derek, again, he’s a British icon, a legend in the sport.
Chisora vs Wilder – all the info
DEREK CHISORA and Deontay Wilder are set to go head-to-head in a blockbuster heavyweight bout this Saturday.
Both of the boxing legends will step into the ring for the 50th fight of their professional careers, with Del Boy ready to hang up his gloves after reaching the half-century mark.
Chisora previously stated he would retire after his 50th fight, and a huge home clash against one of boxing’s most dangerous punchers is a fitting farewell.
The 42-year-old Londoner heads into the home bout on a three-fight winning streak, including standout victories over Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin.
Meanwhile, Wilder has failed to look at his explosive best since back-to-back defeats to Tyson Fury.
Since then, the Bronze Bomber has secured two underwhelming wins against lower-ranked opponents and suffered further losses to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang.

“And I think it’s unanimous on this table. I think Derek will do it, especially with recent performances. He’s got a certain mentality.
“We was talking in Ghana and he wants to go out in his 50[th fight] with a bang. So I’m gonna go with Derek Chisora. Derek ‘War’ Chisora.”
He continued: “I think he could knock him out, because it’s one of the ones where it could be a wear and tear thing.
“But I’m gonna go with the points. I wanna go with points.”
Yarde’s prediction: Chisora on points
David Haye
“Once Wilder runs out of steam he sort of falls off, he sort of flops. And he doesn’t have legs – his foundations are quite slim.
“And once he loses them like we saw against Zhang, very quickly did he start falling all over the place and was spinning around.
“And he just wasn’t together like he once was. So I think there’s an opportunity for Derek, not early, I don’t think it will happen early.
“I think Derek will drag him into a very uncomfortable situation where it’s very close and pulling and pushing. And that’s what Derek needs.
“Wilder’s energy bar, in the first three rounds, Wilder’s dangerous against anybody for sure, if you let him nail you.
“But going past the midway stage, I don’t think he’s gonna be able to keep Derek off of him. And if he does, he’ll be losing the rounds conclusively.

“The fact he wasn’t able to do anything with Joseph Parker, for instance, he wasn’t able to step it up, he just kept doing the same incorrect things and wasn’t able to get to him,
“And Parker was able to win a comfortable fight. It wasn’t a tough fight in terms of punches received from Parker and he was able to hold his form together and just win most of the rounds and win an easy fight.
“Derek, I believe, can do something very similar to what Joseph Parker did. But he doesn’t just wanna win the rounds, he wants to smash you up.
“He wants to really hurt you, he wants to really hit you round the back of the head and the kidneys, he wants to make it very, very uncomfortable.
“And I don’t think Wilder, at this stage in his career; six or seven years ago, we’re talking [about] a different fight.
“But today, on Saturday night, I don’t think Wilder has what it takes to keep Derek Chisora.
“And if he can, he’s losing the rounds. So he either loses a wide decision on points or gets ground down, stopped late, pulled out in the corner, or he just falls apart.”
Haye’s prediction: Chisora via stoppage
