ISIS has urged its followers to set blazes at churches and synagogues around the world in a chilling Easter weekend threat.
The terror group gave the terrifying instruction to “Muslims everywhere” in ISIS propaganda outlet al-Naba, after Israel closed the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
ISIS declared: “In the face of the tragedy of the closure of the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, it is incumbent upon Muslims everywhere—those who yearn to come to the aid of the site of their Prophet’s Night Journey—to rise up and set fire to the Jewish synagogues scattered across America, Europe, Russia, India, and elsewhere.”
It continued: “The same applies to the synagogues in Tunisia, Morocco, the UAE, and Syria; their locations are well-known, and their details have been published.”
The callous call also encouraged its followers to attack churches as Christians around the world celebrate Easter.
ISIS propagandists also made sickening references to the Bondi Beach massacre that killed 15 people, including a 10-year-old girl, as they celebrated Hanukkah in December.
They ordered followers to attack “Jewish gatherings” around the world to “emulate the actions of the ‘Sydney Heroes’”.
The Bondi Beach gunmen allegedly told family they were on a fishing trip before killing at least 15 people and wounding dozens as the Sydney Jewish community celebrated at the beach.
Sajid Akram, 50, and son Naveed, 24, are said to have draped an Islamic State flag over the bonnet of their car before firing at the 1,000-strong crowd.
Suspected shooter Naveed had pledged allegiance to ISIS before the attack, authorities believe.
ISIS also claimed to have killed 60 people across “15 operations” in the past week.
Israeli authorities said they had closed Islam‘s third holiest site, the al-Aqsa mosque due to the “security situation” amid the US-Israeli war in Iran.
They also banned mass gatherings at other religious sites, including at Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Western Wall.
ISIS frequently calls for attacks by its followers on large events.
In 2024, it pledged attacks on the Paris Olympics in an appalling poster message.
The death cult posted a propaganda image showing one of its terrorists seemingly flying an “armed drone” to attack the iconic Eiffel Tower.
Pushed by ISIS-linked social media channels, the poster was captioned: “Lone wolves’ Olympics have begun with the Will of Allah.”
Earlier this year, The Sun revealed that ISIS could unleash a new wave of terror by springing fighters from camps like the one holding Shamima Begum.
General Mazloum Abdi, who leads the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) – a Kurdish-led US-backed militia, sounded the alarm over the resurgent terror group.
Speaking to The Sun in an interview with documentarian and ex-soldier Alan Duncan, Abdi said there are currently 10,000 male fighters in prisons ready to bring devastation back to the Middle East.
