MEGHAN Markle has shared a sweet video of six-year-old Archie skiing down the slopes with his father Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted a brief glimpse of the pair on her Instagram with the caption “My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud”.
In the footage Archie can be seen skilfully zipping down the ski run behind his dad.
Meghan films the pair making their way down the mountain in the sun and posted the video this morning.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, is an avid skier and was last seen on the slopes just before Christmas.
He and his friend, Nacho Figueras went on a ski trip in December and reportedly spent hours on the slopes.
The Duke even tried adaptive ski-sitting in 2024 during a trip to Canada during the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games.
Harry’s love of skiing began when Princess Diana took him and William to on a ski trip to Lech in Austria in 1991.
Harry will make a visit to the UK in July ahead of next year’s Invictus Games in Birmingham and insiders revealed that he hopes the trip will be a chance to visit Sandringham.
Insiders said that Harry would bring his children for some “family time” with the King if he was welcomed.
The sources claimed that the Sussexes would only make the trip if security was provided.
Meghan has not been to the UK since the Queen’s funeral in 2022 while Archie and Lilibet, four, haven’t met their grandfather in nearly four years.
But a source close to the Duke has told The Times: “If he [Harry] was invited by the King, he would get a security package that automatically kicks in.
“He’d like an invite to Sandringham. Would he go? It would depend who was there. If the King was to say ‘Come up and spend some time with the family’ he’d love that.
“He always loves seeing his father and would love to see him as much as possible.”
A friend of the King told the Daily Mail: ‘If Harry truly wishes to see his father, he would do well to encourage his supporters to allow such matters to be discussed privately, since low trust and bitter experience in this regard remains one of the principal barriers to progress.”
Security continues to be an issue for the Duke and his friend said there “is not a world in which” Harry would bring the kids over without more protection.
“If the King wants to see the kids, all he needs to do is invite them over and it can happen,” the insider claimed.
A friend told The Times last year: “He’s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK.
“He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here.
“He really would like to come back to the UK much more.”
