Morgan Rogers open to LEAVING Aston Villa as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd target mega-money transfer

MORGAN ROGERS would be open to leaving Aston Villa for one of the Premier League’s biggest hitters this summer.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are all long-standing admirers of the 23-year-old – who looks a shoo-in for Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.

Manchester United are also in the mix for a player who will be in high demand at the end of the season.

Rogers penned a six-year deal last November but that has not forced his suitors into retreat.

SunSport has learned that Rogers wants to be part of a team that is consistently pushing to win major trophies.

There is also an understanding between Rogers and Villa bosses that this summer is probably the right time to part ways.

Villa are still under financial strain and Rogers is their most valuable player.

If they slide out of the top five and miss out on Champions League revenue for next season, keeping hold of their prized asset will be nigh on impossible.

But Rogers could still depart even if Villa hold on.

The attacking midfielder has a healthy relationship with manager Unai Emery and other Villa Park higher-ups, and hopes they will not stand in his way if the right offer comes in.

A deal for Rogers is likely to exceed £80million – and could even surpass the £100m club record sale of Jack Grealish to Manchester City in 2021.

Rogers has scored eight goals and registered five assists in the Premier League this term, with another three goal contributions in the Europa League.

That form has cemented his status as an England regular under Tuchel and a contender to be the No10 starter at the World Cup.

Rogers has scored 27 goals in 114 games since Villa signed him from Middlesbrough in an £8m deal in 2024.

Chelsea will be on the hunt for a new attacking midfielder this summer if Enzo Fernandez leaves for Real Madrid.

And Rogers is close pals with Blues star Cole Palmer, who he played with in Man City’s youth ranks.

Liverpool could also throw the kitchen sink at a forward of Rogers’ calibre as they prepare to lose goal machine Mohamed Salah, who is leaving on a free at the end of June.
