SCARLETT Moffatt has revealed that “everyone smelt really bad” on I’m A Celeb South Africa – and that bosses banned TOOTHPASTE.
The former Gogglebox star, 35, is one of the 12 famous faces that make up the line-up for the latest All Stars spin-off show.
The ITV spin-off show, which is once again hosted by dynamic duo Ant and Dec, both 50, sees past legendary campmates come together for another go at the show.
However, Scarlett has now revealed a camp secret that nobody knew before.
The reality star, who won the regular I’m A Celebrity back in 2016, revealed that show bosses banned toothpaste, and instead gave them a disgusting alternative.
Speaking on This Morning today, she told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “We weren’t even given toothpaste.
“We were given bicarbonate soda. We stank!
“Honestly, I’ve never smelled anything so bad, and obviously we in there (camp), and we’re like blokes, do you know what I mean? Like, it stunk!”
It comes as Scarlett also revealed this week why she wanted to do I’m A Celebrity again.
The popular star, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle a decade ago, told ITV: “I have everything to thank this show for.
“Doing Gogglebox was lovely, but I’m A Celebrity was the first programme I’d done on my own.
“I am forever grateful to Ant and Dec.
“When I first moved to London, they were so lovely and asked me what I missed most about being away from home.
“I said, ‘Sunday dinners with the family’. So they invited me round a few times to have dinner.”
Meanwhile, a sneak peek to the new series of I’m A Celebrity South Africa dropped this week, and saw the stars screaming, vomiting and stripping off.
The first look tease was packed full of all your usual I’m A Celeb gems, including the jungle shower, disgusting trials and of course plenty of bickering amongst the campmates.
In the new trailer, stars like Sir Mo Farah, 43, were seen screaming as they are dropped into camp from a helicopter.
The trials look even more gruesome, as at one point Craig Charles, 61, was heard saying that he was “going to be sick” as he was spun around, before he vomited everywhere.
Reality TV queen Gemma Collins, 45, who famously lasted just 72 hours in the jungle in 2014, was also seen throwing up during a disgusting eating trial.
The Towie star was also heard sobbing that she felt like the show was “trying to kill her”.
In another grisly moment, footy manager Harry Redknapp, 79, was seen eating something gruesome which popped in his mouth.
Also there was some naked action, as boxer David Haye, 45, was seen stripping off for a shower,.
