VICKY Pattison and husband Ercan Ramadan have opened up on the bizarre reason that put a stop to them having regular sex.
The married couple made a series of bedroom confession as they attended sex therapy as part of Vicky’s newest E4 reality show, Maybe Baby.
The programme chronicled whether the pair were ready to become parents with Vicky not so keen on the idea – arguing she was at her career peak.
In the programme, the couple got candid about their lack of bedroom activity in recent years.
Whilst Vicky has been open about her struggles with PMDD – something she thinks may have contributed to a low libido – the couple also acknowelegd there was another bizarre reason which was a major reason for their lack of sex.
During the programme, they revealed they had suffered a serious lack of sex in recent years.
Ercan confessed he was disappointed by this but the couple agreed that they stopped having sex often when they acquired their two Labrador dogs.
The pair’s dogs sleep with them in the bed which hasn’t helped things go bump in the night for the pair.
Speaking on the show, Ercan said: “As soon as the dogs did arrive, in terms of sex, it slowed down.
Vicky then said: “It has, that is fair.”
Ercan then remarked: “I suppose that is normal?
“Like any other parent when they have a newborn or kids, it does slow down.”
Vicky then told Ercan she didn’t fancy him any less to which he replied: “Yeah, it is nothing to do with us, it is just a lack of physical action.”
Vicky called in a sex therapist in order to get things back on track with Ercan.
The former Geordie Shore star admitted she felt judged at the thought of having sex with her dogs in the house.
Vicky admitted the thought of sex while they are around, even if it’s in another room, distracts her due to fears they know what the couple is up to.
She’s then asked by the therapist: “And does that matter?”
“It does to me,” replies Vicky. “I feel judged by my labradors.”
The therapist then asked Ercan, 32, what he hoped their sessions would achieve, to which he said: “Just up the numbers, really.”
Sarcastically, Vicky joked: “You’re so romantic.”
