THE cost of an average diesel tank has risen above £100 for the first time since 2022 amid the Iran war, as experts warn that prices will keep soaring.
UK’s average price of diesel has reached 182.8p per litre, up 40p since the start of the conflict in the Middle East, the RAC said.

It means the cost of filling a typical 55-litre family car has breached £100 (£100.52) for the first time since early December 2022.
Meanwhile, petrol is now at 152.83p. The association said a full tank of the fuel is now setting drivers back £84.
