EKIN-SU Cülcüloğlu has signed up for a brand new US reality show created by Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper – after insisting she was focusing on her acting career.
The Turkish beauty, 31, worked as a soap actress in her home country before shooting to global fame on Love Island in 2022.
Just months ago Ekin-Su told how she planned to “step back” from reality TV and go back to her roots.
But now she’s been confirmed as one of the stars taking part in YouTube show Unwell Winter Games, which will premiere next week on the platform.
It will see 16 famous faces from the likes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and WWE come together to live in a ‘luxury chalet in Park City, Utah’ where they’ll compete in a set of ‘mental and physical challenges’.
An announcement for the show stated: “The show promises fierce competition, unexpected alliances and the kind of unfiltered drama that has defined Unwell across its programming slate.”
Ekin-Su will star alongside Mormon Wives’ Dakota Mortenson, who recently spoke out accusing his ex Taylor Frankie Paul of domestic abuse after a horrifying video surfaced showing her attack him.
In December Ekin-Su, who has also appeared in Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Big Brother, insisted she was done with reality TV and was keen to pursue acting roles.
She said: “I’m stepping back into acting and focusing more on passion projects.
“I know many people discovered and supported me through reality TV but that was a temporary direction I took after Love Island.
“Acting has always been the bigger picture for me and something I was doing in Turkey before LI.”
Ekin-Su also revealed she lost out on the chance of landing a part in hit drama The White Lotus – after auditioning for the role of Chelsea, which eventually went to Aimee Lou Wood.
During an Instagram Q&A, Ekin-Su told her followers: “I auditioned for the role of Chelsea on @thewhitelotus in 2023.
“It wasn’t my strongest work or even the right time so it didn’t go through for a reason.”
