KIMI ANTONELLI’S incredible Formula One “superpower” left fellow driver Ollie Bearman stunned.
The Italian, 19, has already landed a brace of records this season, following back-to-back wins at the Chinese and Japanese Grand Prix.
He became the youngest ever F1 pole-sitter when he landed pole in Shanghai, before going on to become the second-youngest ever race winner behind Max Verstappen.
But victory during Sunday’s race in Suzuka then saw the teen become the youngest ever F1 championship leader.
Unfortunately, his age did come back to bite him as he was not allowed a celebratory bottle of champagne due to falling under Japan‘s legal drinking age of 20, being forced to settle for sparkling rose water instead.
However, while the records have started tumbling for the racing prodigy, he has a remarkable superpower that has previously surprised even his fellow F1 stars.
Antonelli is able to remember every lap he has ever registered in his career.
This ability was first revealed in an Autosport video published in March of last year.
A Prema race engineer, where Antonelli raced in the development series, was seen quizzing him on his lap times from when he was in F2.
The engineer firstly asked Antonelli for his qualifying lap time from Barcelona, to which he replied: “This is easy.”

That remark left rival driver Bearman laughing in disbelief.
Antonelli was asked for his Melbourne qualifying time, to which he replied with a 29.0, which turned out to be almost spot on with a 038.

Next he was asked for his fastest lap during Silverstone Race 1, which Antonelli said was a 2:01.2, once again spot on.
Bearman then suggested his qualifying time from F4 race in Monza back in 2021.
Antonelli said it was a 52.9, which was correct for Quali 2.
The question of Quali 1 then came up, which he said was a 53.5, but was off by 0.1 with Bearman reading the correct answer to be 53.6.
Antonelli added his Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, qualifying was a 42.4, again spot on, which prompted the engineer to shrug in disbelief and say: “It’s not possible.”
He has kept up this remarkable knowledge even into his second year in the sport.
Antonelli was asked by the Mercedes social media admin for his Japanese Grand Prix lap record in 2025.
He replied by saying it was a 1:30.965, which was bang on the money once again.
One dumbfounded fan said: “This kid doesn’t need help for his math homework.”
A second said: “Bwoah I can’t even remember what I ate two days ago nor yesterday.”
A third added: “Honestly amazing Kimi!!”
Another said: “Bro is a machine.”
Antonelli now leads the F1 drivers’ standings by nine points from team-mate George Russell.
However, it will be over a month until the next race, now in Miami on May 3, following the cancellation of the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia next month.
