EASTENDER Ellie Dadd’s stalker has been jailed for harassing the star’s mum after years of abuse.
Cora Upple, 21, became obsessed with the soap actress in 2024 and bombarded her with hundreds of social media messages.

“Obsessive” Upple was handed a nine-month suspended sentence in December 2024 and given a restraining order.
But the determined stalker went on to target Ellie’s mum, Nicola Gibberd, on social media.
Ellie, 21 — who plays Amy Mitchell in the BBC soap — felt “threatened” and pleaded with cops: “I just want it to stop. Please help me.”
Upple, of Rainham, Kent, admitted breaching her restraining order at Maidstone crown court.
She was jailed for 81 weeks and her restraining order was extended to March 2031.
Alban Brahimi, prosecuting, earlier said: “The victim in this matter indirectly is Ellie Dadd, an actress on EastEnders, portraying Amy Mitchell.
“While she understands there was fan attraction, this fan became obsessive not just in her character but in herself as an individual.”
The prosecutor continued: “The defendant was made clear not to follow or tag Ellie Dadd or any family members.
“But there were two deliberate attempts after those conditions were imposed where she has followed the accounts of Nicola Gibberd.”
Upple’s stalking campaign started as far back as 2023.
Fan-favourite Ellie has been a regular star of Eastenders since joining in 2022.
The actress has also had roles in West End hit Matilda and BBC drama Silent Witness.
