ROBERTO DE ZERBI has been smashed in the bookies’ market to be Tottenham’s manager next season.
It comes after the departure of Igor Tudor on Sunday afternoon.
De Zerbi, the former Brighton and Marseille boss, has been priced at 4-5 to be Spurs’ boss at the beginning of next season.
Coral’s David Stevens said: “Following Igor Tudor‘s departure, Roberto De Zerbi is the odds-on favourite to be in charge of Tottenham next season.
“Whether he is in place for the remainder of this current campaign remains to be seen.”
What Spurs do in the short-term could well impact who is in charge next term.
It seems unlikely that De Zerbi would join the club if they were relegated from the Premier League.
Therefore the favouritism for the Italian is heavily reliant on the North London outfit being able to stay in the top flight.
Recently, Spurs fans fumed at the idea of hiring De Zerbi due to his support of Mason Greenwood while he was managing Marseille.
The 46-year-old led the French side to a second placed finish in his debut season – however was sacked mid-way through his second term.

He also spent two seasons at Brighton – they qualified for the Europa League for the first time in their history in De Zerbi’s first year.
The second favourite is Adi Hutter at 4-1 – he is also in the running to take over on an initial short-term basis.
Relegation fight specialist Sean Dyche is next in the market at odds of 5-1.
He was most recently in charge of Nottingham Forest before being sacked after five months at the helm.
Forest remain part of the relegation scrap with Vitor Pereira now in charge.
Cult-hero Mauricio Pochettino is 6-1 to be Spurs manager at the beginning of 2026/27.
However his duties as USA manager ahead of the World Cup might make him less likely.
Fulham boss Marco Silva is 8-1 for the job.
In terms of the outside chances, Spurs legend Robbie Keane is 10-1.
The Irishman made 308 appearances across two spells for the club – scoring 122 goals.
His only full-time managerial positions have been at Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel and his current job at Ferencvaros in Hungary.
Other outside candidates are former Leipzig and Dortmund manager Marco Rose and Burnley‘s Scott Parker.
Parker made 63 appearances for Spurs from 2011-2013.
