STEPHEN BUNTING could not hide his delight as he hugged his “hero” Jurgen Klopp.
The darts star, 40, is a massive Liverpool fan.
And he hot-footed it back from Premier League Night 8 in Berlin – where he was beaten by Luke Littler in the quarter-finals – to return back to his hometown for the weekend.
That meant he could head to Anfield for the Liverpool vs Borussia Dortmund legends match which ended 2-2 with his son Tobias.
Bunting Sr and Jr watched plenty of retired Anfield greats grace the famous turf, including Steven Gerrard and Ryan Babel.
But they were just as excited by the man in the home dugout.
Klopp left Liverpool in 2024 after nine trophy-laden years, including winning the Premier League and Champions League.
And he made time after the game to stop for a chat with the Buntings behind the scenes.
The Bullet posted the brilliant photo of himself in a Liverpool tracksuit top, son Tobias with his thumb up and Klopp having his arms around both.
All three have beaming smiles and Bunting clearly appreciated a few moments with the German great.

He posted the snap on Instagram and wrote: “Pinch me moment.
“They say ‘never meet your heroes’, but what an absolute legend.
“Everything I expected him to be.”
Plenty flooded the comments section with replies.
Champions League-winning goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek wrote: “Top.”
Another said: “GOAT meets GOAT.”
A third added: “Great photo. Love it.”
And a final user typed: “Premier League legend… and Jurgen Klopp.”
Bunting and his fellow Premier League stars head to Manchester this week for Night 9.
The world No9 – who won Night 4 in Belfast last month – faces Michael van Gerwen first up.
