ALICA SCHMIDT has caused a frenzy on Instagram after she posted a picture alongsidee David Beckham.
The German track and field star – dubbed the world’s sexiest athlete – posted a photo with the Manchester United and England legend on Thursday.
The Olympic runner captioned her post: “Last 48 hours, congrats David Beckham for your amazing @boss collection.”
It seems that the pair linked up as a result of their respective deals with fashion giant Hugo Boss.
They are both ambassadors for the German designer.
The stars posed together in the first photo of a series of snaps in Schmidt’s latest Instagram post.
It has racked up a staggering 145k likes at the time of writing – the most on any of her posts since September 2025.
It also attracted over 800 comments, with friends and fans of the German weighing in.
Fellow runner Keely Hodgkinson commented with a fire emoji.
Boss commented “This duo” also followed by a fire emoji.
One fan said: “Gorgeous.”
A second posted: “Most beautiful athlete in the world.”
While a third said: “So cool. Super Alica.”
Schmidt boasts 5.3million followers on Instagram.
It is not the first time her social media activity has caught the eye.
She wowed fans last year with a jaw-dropping summer post.
