MAURA Higgins is in talks for a huge Disney part after cracking America, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The 32-year-old is fresh from making it to the final of The Traitors USA and her stint on the reality show has opened up all the right doors for her international career.
Irish beauty Maura was once best known for starring in the fifth series of Love Island in 2019.
But alongside her reality TV gigs, Maura has been carving out an acting career and made her movie debut in The Spin, which was released to Irish cinemas last month.
Now The Sun has been told that Maura is excitedly telling pals she’s in talks with Disney for a huge new role.
An insider said: “Maura is keeping her cards close to her chest but she couldn’t help but tell pals she’s reading scripts for Disney.
“Everyone – including Maura – is stunned at how well her career in the US is going. This is just the beginning.”
As well as the potential Disney gig, reports have also been rife that Maura is being circled to be the next lead on huge US reality show, The Bachelorette.
The recent season, which was already in the can, has been axed by US network ABC after leading lady Taylor Frankie Paul of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was arrested in a domestic abuse scandal.
As a result, rumours are doing the rounds that Maura is being eyed to hurriedly shoot a fresh season, which will air in real time as opposed to being shot months in advance.
US viewers went wild for Maura on The Traitors and her reaction to being betrayed by friend and eventual winner Rob Rausch was branded “iconic”.
The Love Island USA hunk, 27, left Maura floored when revealed himself as a traitor, claiming the prize money.
She appeared unable to speak initially while staring at Rob in disbelief, after the two stars had made an agreement to split the $220,800 winnings.
He told her: “I’m so sorry, I’m a traitor.”
“No… are you joking?” She replied.
Rob confirmed he was finally telling the truth, adding: “This whole game I’ve been a traitor.”
Maura was then seen bending over while struggling to process the news, saying: “Oh my god. I’m so stupid. I was so fooled by you.
“You absolute a******e. You pinky promised!”
But he made it up to her by giving her a burgundy Hermès Togo Birkin 30 bag on Bravo TV show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Maura said: “See this is my win. I knew I’d have my moment.
“You’re forgiven. I love her. She’s beautiful.”
