Kendra Duggar BANNED from contacting her 4 kids after child endangerment arrest as husband Joe faces molestation charges

KENDRA Duggar has been forbidden from contacting her four children following her arrest for non-sexual child endangerment, after her husband Joe was charged with the sexual assault of a minor.

Former Counting On star Kendra, 27, was bailed out in Fayetteville, Arkansas, after her arrest, officials said.

The news came just days after her husband, Joe, was arrested and accused of molesting a nine-year-old girl in 2020 while on vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The couple now also face four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree.

There is no indication that her charges are of a sexual nature but relate to locks on her children’s doors after a home inspection, according to reports.

A spokesperson for the family would only say that the charges filed against Kendra are “totally unrelated” to the felony charges her husband is expected to face in Florida.

“She’s not suspected or accused of participating in his alleged crime,” they added to PEOPLE.

The pair, who have four children, are yet to enter pleas and will appear in court again on April 29.

Joe, 37, remains behind bars after his arrest, and it’s unclear who is caring for the couple’s children.

The U.S. Sun obtained an Order for Conditions of Release filed in Washington County, Arkansas, setting strict terms for Kendra following her arrest.

The document requires her to appear in court next month in the Elm Springs Division and bars her from contacting “unnamed victims” by any means — including in person, by phone, text, email, or through third parties — while the case is ongoing.

The order reflects a standard no-contact provision used in cases involving allegations such as endangering the welfare of a minor, meaning the restriction will remain in place until the case is resolved.

It also warns that any breach of the conditions could lead to her arrest, bond revocation, and detention pending trial.

Officials said the investigation is “active and ongoing,” adding that no other detail will be released at this time to “protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved.”

A family source, who spoke to PEOPLE, claimed, “I can tell you the arrest was a result of a home inspection, and the door locks being on the exterior of the doors.”

The “unnamed victims” are understood to be their children.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to the family for comment.

In the weeks before Joe and Kendra were arrested, the couple was lying low and distancing themselves from the family, a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

Joe’s allegedly confessed to suspected child sex abuse during a phone call with a detective and the child’s father, according to PEOPLE.

In the affidavit, Joe is said to have “admitted his actions,” telling both the father and police that he “touched the victim over her clothing,” and acknowledging that “his intentions were not pure.”

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office stated the former TLC personality faces charges of lewd and lascivious conduct involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

The case began after investigators were contacted by a detective in Tontitown regarding a report of past sexual abuse.

Authorities later carried out a forensic interview with a 14-year-old, who disclosed multiple incidents allegedly involving Joe during a family vacation when she was nine years old, officials said.

The victim told police that he repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap and would ask her throughout the vacation to sit next to him on a couch.

He allegedly covered them with a blanket and assaulted her.

“During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs,” the Bay County Sheriff’s Office alleged.

“The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions, and the incidents stopped after the apology.”

Investigators found out that the girl’s father confronted Joe about the allegations this month, and he “admitted his actions.”

Joe’s brother, Josh, is currently serving a 12 and a half year sentence after he was found guilty of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material in December 2021.

The latest Duggar scandal has rocked the family once again.

Jill Duggar Dillard’s family broke their silence, saying, “We were shocked yesterday evening to learn of Jill’s brother (Joe’s) arrest.”

“We are shocked and heartbroken,” the statement continued. “We strongly condemn abuse. We support the rule of law and hope that justice will be achieved.”

Jinger Duggar also shared her thoughts in a new episode of her podcast with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo.

“We got the news last week, and it’s been a really difficult week of trying to process this,” Jeremy said.

“A week of us crying out to the Lord, asking for mercy and grace for those affected by this.”

“It’s been one of those weeks that feels like years. I did not think that my heart could break like it has this week,” Jinger said.

“The pain and heartbreak we’ve had over this, and just thinking of how it’s affected so many… it’s just unthinkable.”
