EASTER is approaching fast, with thousands around the UK rushing to their nearest retail store to pick up chocolate Easter eggs to celebrate.
And of course, Tesco, being the UK’s market leader in groceries, will be expecting plenty of customers. But when will its supermarkets be open over the Easter weekend?
What are the Tesco Easter Bank Holiday opening times?
As previously mentioned, the Easter weekend is a busy time for shoppers.
So when exactly will Tesco stores be open?
Good Friday
On Good Friday, most large Tescos across England, Wales and the Isle of Man will have opening hours of 6am-10pm.
However, the rest of the UK (Scotland and Northern Ireland) will continue to be open for the entirety of their normal hours.
In terms of Large Express stores, shoppers should expect opening hours of 6am-10pm.
Standard Express stores will proceed as usual with their normal opening hours.
Easter Sunday
Those in England, Wales and Northern Ireland looking to shop in a large Tesco store on Easter Sunday are out of luck as they will be closed all day.
Although, large stores in Scotland will be open usual hours, whilst stores on the Isle of Man will have opening hours of 8am-10pm.
Like large Tesco stores, Large Express stores will be closed on Easter Sunday. Standard Express stores will still continue with their normal opening hours.
Easter Monday
On Easter Monday, almost all large stores across England, Wales and the Isle of Man will have opening hours of 8am-6pm.
In Northern Ireland, however, stores will be open two hours later – with opening hours of 8am-8pm.
Once again, all large stores in Scotland will trade their usual hours.
Fortunately, the majority of large Express stores will reopen between the hours of 8am-6pm. Standard Express stores will still continue with their normal opening hours.
Overall, it’s a good idea for customers to check their local store opening times on Tesco’s store locator here: https://www.tesco.com/store-locator/.
