Ring reveals doorbell revamp with best picture EVER and brand new accessory for continuous power to your battery

RING has unveiled a bunch of new doorbell devices and accessories to keep homes even safer.

The Amazon-owned firm is adding 4K video to its battery-powered doorbells for the first time, meaning you’ll have even clearer picture of everything from deliveries to intruders lurking around.

A second generation of the Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro is said to be the company’s most advanced battery-powered doorbell to date, with retinal 4K video and up to 10x enhanced zoom so you don’t miss a thing.

Ring says the device – which costs £219.99 – has redesigned some of powers under the hood to make it their fastest-charging battery ever.

Alongside this, there’s a new solar charger accessory available that now integrates directly into the mounting design.

Ring claims the product provides “continuous power” and flexible installation, allowing users to mount their doorbell on top of the charger.

There’s also some new wired gadgets, including Wired Video Doorbell Elite.

This features retinal 4K and 10x enhanced zoom, with true colour video in low light, smarter motion alerts, and remote access control, all relying on native power over an Ethernet cable.

The Wired Video Doorbell Elite is the most expensive Ring device yet, retailing at £449.99.

On the cheaper end of the new range is the second generation Ring Wired Video Doorbell, costing £59.99.

All of the new kit comes with a free trial of Ring’s AI Pro subscription, which was introduced earlier this year.

The plan offers extra tools like intelligent video search where you can search keywords like “person,” “package,” or “car” to find specific moments instantly.
