Every time a Muslim commits a crime or terrorist attack, liberals and, of course, “moderate” Muslims decry the “Islamophobia” of Westerners.
Apparently, being demonic terrorists and evil people is just their culture, and it is Islamophobic to object to Muslims destroying civilization.

A Jewish community in London was providing ambulance services to supplement the wildly understaffed National Health Service, whose own service is so understaffed and overburdened that people are dying waiting for ambulances.
The ambulances were set on fire, destroying them just because they were owned by Jews.
What was London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s reaction? After the obligatory blah blah blah about how hate is bad, he immediately does the inevitable “Muslims are the real victims here, you know” shtick.

Like many, I’d never heard of the Jewish volunteer ambulance service Hatzola in north London – until four of its ambulances were burned down on Sunday evening.
A Hatzola ambulance came to Nicole’s father’s aid just weeks ago, after he suffered a heart attack – which, sadly, he did not survive.
Hatzola was set up to serve the needs of the Jewish community – but will help anyone in need and works alongside the London Ambulance Service.
I didn’t need anyone to tell me that.
I’ve lived and worked alongside Jewish friends, neighbours and colleagues all my life.
But I also didn’t need anyone to tell me what would come next.
That it wouldn’t take long for some people to claim it is “just for Jews” – and use that as an excuse to pour more hate on a community that doesn’t deserve it.
Sadly, I find myself agreeing with Nicole’s line that Britain is “a good country with a great sickness” right now.
A place where some have convinced themselves that a conflict thousands of miles away – one British Jews have no control over – justifies hostility towards people who live peacefully here, as part of our shared communities.
People who are our friends, neighbours, colleagues.
People who are not burning down ambulances.
Not vandalising businesses.
Not attacking places of worship – or the people inside them – because of their race or religion.
I have to agree with Winston Churchill’s assessment of Islam:

When Zohran Mamdani was campaigning for Mayor, he made appearances at a Mosque and campaigned with an Imam who was an unindicted co-conspirator with the 9/11 hijackers. His wife supports Hamas, illustrates wildly antisemitic books, and has expressed support for terrorism.

The fact is, Muslims are not victims of Islamophobia. To the extent that people do fear them, doing so is perfectly rational. Just as we warn people not to walk through bad neighborhoods because doing so is dangerous, we should wake up to the fact that Islam amounts to the same thing. It is not racist to avoid crime-ridden areas, and it is not racist to fear a Muslim takeover.
And, just as we fight crime, or at least we used to, we should fight the spread of Islam in our societies.
