THIS is the moment a raging bearded and tattooed thug loses his cool on a night out and knocks a man out who is half his size.
Shocking footage shows the brute sending the smaller man flying after punching him in the face during a heated late-night row in Leeds city centre.
The aggressor appears to take an instant dislike to his victim’s multicoloured hat.
He is seen pointing at the colourful headwear while hurling abuse.
As tensions boil over, he then lashes out at another onlooker by swiping a camera out of their hands while shouting.
But the situation quickly turns violent when the smaller man, who is wearing a lanyard and a multicoloured hat, steps in.
In a split second, the brute swings a vicious left hook straight at his chin.
The punch sends the man crashing to the floor.
After striking him, the thug storms off – still ranting as stunned bystanders look on.
The shocking video has gone viral, racking up a staggering 1.2 million views and nearly 8,000 likes online.
Viewers were left horrified, with some comparing the attacker to cartoon hardman Bluto.
One said: “Remove alcohol out of the situation and this clip wouldn’t exist.”
Another added: “I hope this guy’s OK, and I hope roidman gets what’s coming to him.”
A third wrote: “I hope that poor man is ok.”
And a fourth joked: “I’ve often wondered what Bluto was up to after the highly successful Popeye cartoons came to an end.”
The Sun has contacted West Yorkshire Police for comment.
