ARSENAL’S dreams of a quadruple – or even their first League Cup since 1993 – were dashed by an energised Manchester City
A brace from Man City youth product Nico O’Reilly sealed a 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola‘s troops.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta must be ruing his decision to start back-up goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after his howler on the hour mark allowed Nico O’Reilly to score from close range.
The former Chelsea man failed to gather in a cross and dropped it straight into the path of the 21-year-old.
Just four minutes later, O’Reilly had Guardiola dancing down the touchline as he met a cross at the back post and finished across the stranded Kepa.
The first chance of the game fell to Kai Havertz after the German broke free in the Man City box, but James Trafford did well to close the angle and make the first of a stunning triple save.
Five minutes into the second half, Kepa raced out of his box and made a mess of clearing the ball. The Spaniard was yellow-carded for holding back Jeremy Doku, but Antoine Semenyo wasted the resulting free-kick.
Arsenal certainly started the brighter, but Guardiola’s men began to get a grip on the game as time wore on and dominated in the second half.
