Furious Britain’s Got Talent fans slam guest judge Stacey Solomon as ‘unbearable’ as she makes show debut

AS STACEY Solomon made her debut as a guest judge during tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent, not all fans were impressed with the new arrival.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter, 36, stood in for Simon Cowell during Saturday’s bout of live auditions, 17 years after she performed on stage herself for the music mogul.

But as Stacey joined Alesha Dixon, KSI and Amanda Holden on the panel, some viewers at home took to X to slam her judging abilities.

“Can’t take to Stacey at all… #BGT,” wrote one fan.

Not holding back, another slammed: “Just when you think Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden were unbearable…Dagenham Stacey joins the panel.”

“#BGT Has there ever been a less talented judging panel?” said another.

However, it wasn’t all bad news for Stacey’s first time on the judging panel, as one fan wrote to X: “I’m loving Stacey as judge – she’s really settling in well #BGT”.

A full circle moment, Stacey rose to fame herself on Simon Cowell’s talent show The X Factor.

While she attempted to carve out a singing career for herself on the show back in 2009, it was her personality that amassed an army of fans.

She went on to become a household name by appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, joining the Loose Women panel and bagging several of her own TV shows.

Stacey may not have been a hit with viewers this weekend, but she is thought to have impressed show bosses.

Earlier this month, we revealed how she will be returning to the competition during the live shows.

A source said: “Fans will see Stacey’s pre-recorded BGT debut on screen later this month and bosses are delighted to be welcoming her back during the live shows in the spring.

“She has massive social media clout, which producers are really pushing at the moment, so that should give her moment on the show a big boost.

“TV isn’t getting the viewing figures it did a decade ago, so to have someone who can tell their followers to sit down and watch the box can have a real impact.”

Simon, who also rated her as his temporary stand-in, said: “I love Stacey — she’s been a great friend over the years. I remember her first audition on X Factor.

“I’ve seen what she’s done with her career and I’m really happy for her.”
