AFTER being sacked from Strictly Come Dancing it seems Nadiya Bychkova fancies a new career as a footballer.
The pro dancer was seen taking a shot at goal at the launch of Angry Birds X TOCA Social at Westfield in London.
We’re not sure her skills match those of our Lionesses yet — but hats off to Nadiya for giving it a go in heels.
She is just one of the Strictly stars culled in the BBC’s brutal Strictly shake-up, with my favourite Karen Hauer also axed, alongside Michelle Tsiakkas, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Nancy Xu and Neil Jones.
Reports claim the move caused a mutiny among the dancers, who are royally irked at being dismissed without warning.
Next up on Strictly’s to-do list is replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
And as The Sun revealed last year, it’s Alex Jones and Rylan Clark who are in the frame for the job.
A source previously said: “Strictly is a light entertainment show, but it has to be competitive – otherwise it doesn’t work.
“Execs want the pros to treat the series like a sport and get the best results out of their partners, without going over the top and avoiding bullying scandals that have marred the show in recent years, of course.
“But Nadiya’s last three outings with a celebrity partner (also including Matt Goss) haven’t pulled up any trees – she hasn’t even made the top 10 with any of them.
“So in order to keep standards high, there’s hoping whoever fills Nadiya’s place on the line-up will achieve better results.”
