A TEEN who tragically died after being stabbed in the neck has been pictured.
Berkan Damir, 18, died from a neck wound at a home in West London as police charge a 31-year-old man.
The Metropolitan Police rushed to the address in Lena Gardens, Hammersmith just after 6pm on Sunday evening.
Emergency services found the two men with stab wounds in a road where family homes can sell for up to £2.4million.
Despite their best efforts, Berkan died at the scene, it was previously reported.
Ahmed Said was also injured and taken to hospital before he was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 31-year-old was due in Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
The men were known to each other but are not thought to be related, the force added.
After a post-mortem examination on Tuesday, Berkan’s cause of death was confirmed as a sharp force trauma to the left side of the neck.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are investigating the tragic stabbing.
Officers have urged anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 or reporting anonymously through Crimestoppers.
Superintendent Pali Grewal, who leads neighbourhood policing in the area, previously said: “Our thoughts remain with the victim’s loved ones as they come to terms with the tragic events of Sunday evening.
“We understand this will be distressing news for those living locally.
“A crime scene remains in place at Lena Gardens and residents can expect to see increased police patrols in the area.
