DARTS fans were stunned into silence after Michael van Gerwen suffered a bust while going for a 136 checkout against Luke Littler.
The two stars went head-to-head in the first semi-final of Premier League Darts night seven.
And with the score locked at one leg each, Van Gerwen looked to move into the lead by hitting a 136 checkout.
The 36-year-old was able to hit a treble 20 twice, leaving him with a double eight to finish.
However, on his final throw he landed just below on the double 16.
Commentator and former darts player Wayne Mardle said: “Oh Michael! Oh my goodness!
“What’s the worst possible outcome? That!”
Meanwhile, co-commentator Emma Paton said: “That is absolutely disgusting!”
Despite the huge error, the Dutchman went on to win the leg.
However, he lost the match 5-6 to Littler following a dramatic ending.
