MARRIED At First Sight Australia star Lauren Huntriss has revealed her due date as she showed off her growing baby bump.
E4 fans will remember business owner Lauren, who appeared on the 2019 series, took her groom Matthew Bennett’s virginity on their honeymoon.
But their marriage soon broke down after he told the other couples that he wasn’t attracted to his wife – and they ultimately left the experiment.
The season six bride, who is currently pregnant with her second child with fiancé Wade Burns, has revealed that she’s nearly five months pregnant.
The former reality star shared a photo of her blossoming bump in a white ribbed maxi dress and revealed the gender of her baby.
She wrote: “Officially half way! Can’t wait to meet you baby girl.”
In January, Lauren shared the happy news that she was pregnant with her second child.
She shared a sweet photo with her son Henry and partner Matthew.
Lauren captioned it: “Our little family of three is about to become four!
Baby girl due 1st of August.”
In July 2024, Lauren gave birth to her first child.
Lauren shot to fame on MAFS but ended up slamming the show as “full of s***” and claimed she was “grabbed off the street” to feature.
The experiment series sees a group of relationship experts, including sociologists, marriage counsellors and clinical psychologists drum up a survey, as well as undertaking further tests, to match a pair of complete strangers together – who then agree to get married.
But Lauren who was paired with Matt poured cold water on suggestions science was behind her match.
After the show, Lauren wrote: “God MAFS is so full of s**t.
“Lol OK John we all know you did not spend months finding the perfect match.
“Producers pulled ppl (like me) off the street just weeks before lol.”
Lauren rounded off her blunt views and added: “Scientific my a**.”
It appears the show’s magic formula didn’t work for Lauren who, despite making love to Matt and him losing his virginity on their honeymoon, was the first to split and leave the show.
Matt told how he was “not attracted” to his match, and threw his wedding ring into a waterfall.
Following the fracas, Lauren told 9Honey Celebrity: “After Matt embarrassed me in front of everyone at the dinner party by saying he wasn’t attracted to me, I knew it would not be fair on myself or him to prolong the experiment.”
“Matt had never told me he wasn’t attracted to me before and I was really hurt too. I felt that he really betrayed me, especially because I had always been by his side and respectful of him in social settings.”
