HOW many Arsenal players is too many?
That’s the question Dream Team managers are asking themselves this morning.
While Chelsea and Manchester City crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday night, the Gunners booked their place in the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Ahead of this weekend’s Carabao Cup final, the quadruple is still very much a possibility for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Not only are Arsenal the strongest Premier League team this season, they are likely to have the most fixtures (point-scoring opportunities) across the remaining the Gameweeks.
It therefore seems reasonable for gaffers to stock up on Arteta’s favourites.
Take Declan Rice (£5.3m) for example.
The England international scored his side’s second goal against Leverkusen to essentially clinch the tie.
He banked 14 points in total to take his tally for the Gameweek to 17.
At the time of writing, Rice is the top-performing midfielder of Gameweek 28.
The 27-year-old is up to sixth in the rankings among players in his position having nudged his overall total to 238 points.
Suddenly, his ownership of 15.5% seems a tad low.
For comparison, Enzo Fernandez (£4.5m) currently features in 23.8% of teams — Chelsea players simply aren’t as viable after they were smashed 8-2 on aggregate by PSG.

Rice has scored five goals this season but he’s a top-tier Dream Team asset because he has so many routes to points.
He ranks third among all players for assists with 13 in all competitions and joint-second for big chances created (24).
His set-piece prowess has been a potent weapon for a long while now.
Rice also doesn’t lack for tackles or bonus points.
And as one of the first names on the teamsheet, he is guaranteed substantial playing time all the while Arsenal are chasing trophies on four fronts, although it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was rested against Southampton in the FA Cup after the international break.
It won’t be long until many of the most engaged Dream Team bosses will have an all-Arsenal defence plus Rice and Bukayo Saka (£6.1m) in midfield, with Viktor Gyokeres (£4.7m) up top.
