KING Charles goes from Rex to decks as he tries DJing.
He was shown how to fade, decreasing one tune’s volume for another, and gamely said he was “trying to get the hang of it”.
Christian St Louis, 22, gave Charles, 77, a demonstration at an event to highlight the work of the King’s Trust in Manchester.
He said later of Charles: “It was pretty fun.
“He did great.
“He was fascinated by all buttons.
“I find it easy but I appreciate not everyone does.
“It’s not every day you get to DJ with a King.”
As he attempted the desks, an onlooker said: “It’s not as easy as it looks, is it?”
Charles laughed and trailed off as he replied: “No, I was trying to.”
Charles later visited Greencore, in Warrington.
Greencore has prepared and packed more than one million meals as part of the King’s Coronation Food Project.
The meals are for families in need rather than being dumped in the waste.
