I’m being terrorised by my housing association neighbour’s 3am ‘adult cardio’

A MOTHER has revealed that she is being “terrorised” by her housing association neighbours.

Not only are one couple enjoying “obnoxiously loud adult cardio” – aka very loud sex sessions – at 3am, but others are tipping their rubbish into her garden bin.

Posting on social media, mum-of-one Jessie Ross opened up on her neighbour drama, which she described as “disgusting and frustrating.”

The content creator explained that she is “not sleeping” because of her neighbour’s nightly sex sessions and even her four-year-old daughter has started to ask why their female neighbour is often heard “screaming.”

As Jessie filmed herself cleaning her home for a video, she said: “I’m actually being terrorised by my neighbours – I don’t know if anyone remembers me saying that my neighbours keep doing ‘adult cardio’ at stupid times in the morning, obnoxiously loud, but since I’ve said that, it’s just got 10 times worse.

“And before everyone says ‘make a complaint to your housing association,’ yes, I already have, but considering I’ve had no bathroom light for two and a half years because they won’t fix the leak, I’m not holding out much hope that they’re gonna fix this problem either.”

NEIGHBOUR NAG

I woke up to a very bizarre note taped to my door by a neighbour at Butlin’s

Jessie acknowledged that her neighbours will have “adult cardio” sessions at 2am or 3am and will then “start again at about 5am.”

Not only is it waking Jessie up, but it’s also disturbing her daughter’s sleep too.

She added: “They’ll be doing it at 7am when my daughter’s getting ready for school, so she’s coming in asking me ‘why is that girl screaming?’ – how the f**k do I explain that to a four-year-old?”

As well as this, Jessie then discussed another neighbour issue that is causing her stress.

She continued: “Also where I live there’s a communal garden and most people in this block of flats smoke, so they’ll go out into the garden to have a fag, then they take the ashtrays and tip it into my bin – so I go to put my bin bag in my bin and just get hit in the face by a load of fag ash.

“And if not, they’re filling my bin full of their kids’ nappies – I actually don’t get how you can have that little respect for your neighbours, it’s disgusting and it’s so frustrating.”

Jessie claimed that she doesn’t cause “any problems” with her neighbours as she has never put her rubbish in anyone else’s bin and puts her youngster to bed at 6:30pm every night.

She explained that she is “not a confrontational person in the slightest,” but is now unsure on how to move forward with these issues.

She fumed: “I’m sleep deprived, I feel harassed and I’m just generally really f*****g sick of it.”

As well as this, Jessie admitted that she isn’t a “prude” and understands that people are “gonna have fun and at times are gonna be loud.”

However, she recognised that overhearing such excessively loud bedroom noises “every single night” is starting to “take the f*****g p**s.”

The Top Five Reasons Neighbours Squabble

One study by Compare the Market revealed the top reason British neighbour’s argue

  1. Broken fences – top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix it
  2. Parking: one of the leading drivers of neighbour disputes, with 54.1 per cent of people having issues with people parking in front of their house, parking bay or driveway
  3. Trees – complaints about a neighbour’s tree cracking your garden path was also common with nearly half of participants finding it frustrating
  4. Bin wars – outdoor bin etiquette continues to ignite the most furious debates between neighbours
  5. Nosy Neighbours – some people have their eyes and ears at the ready to have a peek causing problems for others

Jessie’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jess.ross.7, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 526,900 views.

Social media users were stunned by Jessie’s neighbour issues and many raced to the comments to share their thoughts and advice.

One person said: “We’ve had the same, it’s unbelievable. I feel your pain.”

Another added: “I’m exhausted listening to this!”

A third asked: “Would you consider moving?”

In response, Jessie responded and confirmed: “I would love nothing more.”

Meanwhile, someone else chimed in and advised: “Go to environmental health for noise.”

At the same time, one user recommended: “Contact your local MP. They will help and cc in your local council.”
