Crisp giant Walkers is recalling packets of crisps over allergy concerns, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has confirmed.
The manufacturer is taking their Honey Hot Crisps 6 packs off the shelves due to worry that the crisps may contain Cheese and Onion seasoning.
The seasoning, which is not mentioned on the product’s label, could contain milk – a possible risk to anyone with an allergy or lactose intolerance.
This afternoon, the FSA released a statement announcing: ‘Walkers is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.’
It said: ‘This product may contain milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to milk or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
‘If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to milk do not eat it.’
The affected product is the six packs of 25g bags. Its batch code is GBB 584 031 and best before date is May 16, 2026.
Those with contaminated packs have been advised to call the Walkers’ Customer Care Line on 0800274777 or visit contact.pepsico.com/walkers to receive a full refund.

The recall comes amid other recent recalls for food products.
Popular Japanese and Korean food brand Kelly Loves previously recommended customers not consume their jarred ginger due to reports it contained pieces of glass.
The sushi ginger, which was available in Asda and Waitrose, was removed from stores as a precautionary measure due to the potential risk of glass consumption.
Customers were offered a refund and advised to return the product to the store it was purchased from.
Last year, retailers TK Maxx and Home Sense also withdrew packs of Lokumella Mini Pistachio Bars from their stores due to fears the product contained traces of milk.
The recall affected packets of the chocolate bars sold between January and March 2025.
