MUST described that initiative as a “small win perhaps but part of a positive pattern recently”.

This comes amid Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s controversial reign as minority owner that started in 2024 when he also took over all sporting operations with his INEOS team.

Ticket price hikes along with staff redundancies, have been a source of frustration under Ratcliffe.

The Red Devils decided to raise matchday tickets to £66 per game in the Prem, with no concessions for children or pensioners.

This comes after about 400 members of staff were made redundant and free lunches were axed for employees who survived the cuts.
