SCORES of Israeli Arabs cheated death when an Iranian ballistic missile slammed into their village.
The force of yesterday’s 1.30am blast extended for half a mile across the settlement, damaging 300 homes and injuring 58 locals.
It left an 8ft crater eight yards from the home where worker Khaled Jarifat, 47, his wife and their four kids aged seven to 12 were sheltering.
She suffered a broken shoulder and the kids were left with shrapnel injuries.
Khaled was not hurt but the walls of the house in the Arab farming village of Zarzir, close to Nazareth, were pockmarked.
His brother Ahmed, 34, said: “Many houses were damaged.
“We might be Arabs here but we are Israelis.
“This an attack on all of us.”
Another villager said: “When I saw how bad the damage was, I was sure many had died.
“It’s incredible they survived.”
The Israeli military said the attack, a rare breach of its Iron Dome defences, was “under review”.
