Good morning!
Hello and welcome to the final day of the Cheltenham Festival, and it’s our towering crescendo – the Boodles Gold Cup.
You can tussle over whether the Gold Cup or the Grand National is the most prestigious prize in jump racing, but you can’t argue that winning either is chance enough to cement your place in history and the public’s imagination.
We have a doozy lined up for today – a three-way scramble between competing favourites Gaelic Warrior, The Jukebox Man, and Jango Baie, with looming threat from last year’s winner Iknowthewayurthinkin and, in light of the overnight rain, Haiti Couleurs.
There’s plenty of action between now and 4pm, when our starters head onto the circuit, however. So stick with us as we bring you all the tips, inside stories and build-up, as well as live coverage of every race.
