PRINCE Harry’s loose-lipped circle of close friends was a good source of stories, the former royal editor of The Mail on Sunday told the High Court yesterday.
Katie Nicholl said she did not need to sit at home and use illegal methods because she had “real contacts genuinely close to Harry”.

She recalled meeting the Prince at a London party in April 2003.
He was smoking near a private room and invited her in, she said.
Harry’s barrister, David Sherborne, claimed she had been overstating her relationship with Harry.
He said: “I suggest his close circle of friends were well aware . . . and very tight-lipped.”

Ms Nicholl said: “They certainly were not.
“I had very good sources in the inner circle.”
Associated Newspapers denies illegal information gathering.
The trial continues.
