JONNY CLAYTON has opened on the painful gout that affects his ankles.
The Ferret is one of the best darts players on the planet but will often throw on the oche with inflammation in his joints.

The Welshman, 51, struggles with the condition but is often reluctant to speak about it.
In his 6-3 quarter-final win over Michael van Gerwen on Thursday night, the father of two could be seen limping around the stage.
SunSport understands Clayton has suffered a flare-up in his left ankle and this is why he hobbled during the contest.
It comes 24 hours after he spoke about the situation with SunSport in a Zoom chat.
Clayton has been leading the Premier League Darts table and is looking assured to qualify for the playoffs at the O2 Arena in London in May.
The world No.5 was talking on Wednesday about his love of rally cars and how he would one day love to get behind the wheel of one of the vehicles.
It was put to Clayton that he might not follow the pursuit because he would be worried about breaking an arm perhaps.
Clayton, a former plasterer, replied: “You could fall off a step and break an arm. You can’t overthink life. You take it as it comes.
“I’ve got gout. I suffer with gout. That just turns up as and when it wants to. It’s part of life, isn’t it?
