A BLUE Therapy star was left gobsmacked after her husband admitted he’s been faking going into work for TWO months.
The new Netflix show, which has had viewers hooked, sees couples open up about their relationships with therapist Karen Doherty – and there has been surprising revelations along the way.
However, fans were left shocked when one husband admitted to his wife that he had lost his job months ago, and was actually pretending to go to work.
Yasmin and Mike are seen in the first season of Blue Therapy, which dropped on Netflix on March 4.
The show follows seven couples who air their problems and seek advice from therapist Karen.
But no one, especially Yasmin, expected Mike to make the startling confession at the beginning of episode two.
During their first session on Karen’s couch, the couple talked about how their different salaries had caused problems in their relationship – as Yasmin earns more than her husband.
However, things then took a surprising turn when Mike, who shares a son with Yasmin, admitted he was in debt by £12K.
But what he said next would’ve left fans with their jaws-dropped.
Mike revealed that he actually didn’t even have a job anymore, after being made redundant.
He had even been pretending to go to work every day.
Making his confession to his shocked wife, he said: “It’s embarrassing to say, but I’ll dress up like I’m going to work.
“We leave the house around the same time, and then I’ll literally circle round.
“And as long as she’s gone to work, I’ll just circle back home.”
Yasmin looked completely shocked by what Mike was saying, and confessed to feeling “utterly blindsided”.
“He’s been living another life, just lying to me,” she sobbed to Karen.
Things then went from bad to worse, as Yasmin fumed at her husband: “I can’t even look at you right now.”
Blue Therapy has so far proved a big hit with fans after dropping on Netflix last week.
The streaming giant says the show “invites viewers into a therapy room where real couples are working through intense issues, guided by a trained couples’ therapist”.
