Some conservatives were disappointed that Jasmine Crockett lost her bid to become the Democratic Party’s Senate nominee in Texas.
I get why. Crockett is a phony, pretending to be a hood rat, and has made a career out of being so ridiculous that she seems an easy target.
So when James Talarico stole the nomination from under her by exploiting a hoax that the Trump administration prevented his appearance on the Stephen Colbert show, I heard a lot of moaning and groaning, and calls for the Republicans to get behind John Cornyn to ensure that we had an incumbent on the ticket in what could be a close race.
Remember when Stephen Colbert took to the airwaves to suggest that the Trump administration intervened at the 11th hour to intimidate his bosses into pulling an interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico?

Both Colbert and Talarico knew days before the interview actually took place that it would not air on TV due to concerns from CBS lawyers, but Talarico sat down with Colbert anyway, hoping that Colbert “would tell his audience the story of federal interference,” the New York Times reported.
Talarico then milked the hubbub for earned media, millions of dollars in fundraising, and a primary win over Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
Me? I think a blind squirrel with epilepsy could beat Talarico in a walk. The man is a low-T version of Beto O’Rourke crossed with California State Senator Scott Weiner.

He’s creepy as hell, and Texans are not going to flock to him. I feel quite confident about that.

Talarico considers himself an authority on what it truly means to be a Christian and is happy to preach to you about how the Annunciation proves that God wants women to murder their children.
Really.

Democrat and Presbyterian seminarian James Talarico has won the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.
Here are some of his beliefs:
– Thinks illegal immigrant children are more patriotic than American children.
– Thinks the Torah tells you how to give an abortion.
– Thinks the trans community needs abortion too.
– Think there are 6 genders.
– Thinks God is “nonbinary.”
– Thinks the Bible supports gay marriage.
– Thinks Jesus supported abortion because he talked to and was kind to women.
– Thinks the story of Mary’s Annunciation is proof that God supports abortion.
Basically, this guy thinks that the Bible is an instruction manual for how to become a gay communist, and he wants to help every child reach that goal.
Texas Democrat JAMES TALARICO is a wolf in sheep’s clothing:
“Did they teach you in Sunday school that Jesus Christ himself was a radical feminist?” pic.twitter.com/AynhtCsIuY

The more you listen to this guy, the more you wonder why the authorities have not searched his hard drive yet. Rather than being an attractive face for liberalism, he is a parody of what leftists think conservatives want or need to hear in order to vote for a Democrat.
James Talarico’s woke Billy Graham shtick has the same function as Tim Walz’s trans-affirming Elmer Fudd persona. Democrats desperately want a rural/religious-coded white male who can make their most unpopular positions seem American as apple pie.https://t.co/KSRbuNEeP1 pic.twitter.com/rpshvWZImx

He is just another version of the Tim Walz strategy. Democrats think they can find a magic white man who can “code talk” to those of us who identify as one of the six scientifically proven sexes: men.
Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico in 2019:
“The American flag is such a complicated symbol for most of us. And in many ways, like Jesus, like the cross, it’s been co-opted, and in some ways, its true meaning has been betrayed.” pic.twitter.com/80YvvwPnwL

He’s white. He claims to be Christian.
We’ve got a WINNER on our hands.

There is no radical leftist position this guy has not taken. He believes in open borders, decarceration, transgender ideology, abortion until birth, and…you get the idea. This guy is whack.

I welcome James Talarico into this race. He is the Texas version of Zohran Mamdani, not the savior of the Democratic Party who will turn Texas Blue.
Democrats are struggling to understand heterosexuality.

Don’t believe it? Just ask David French. He loves the guy.
Opinion: “Talarico is one of the few openly Christian politicians in the United States who acts like a Christian..a profound contrast with so many members of the MAGA Christian movement that’s dominated American political life for 10 years” @DavidAFrench https://t.co/vX3Gt2zejT

Uh, yeah, right.
David French is 4 articles away from writing how Rashid Talib should be the next president

It’s a fitting end for David French’s storyline is that he insists this abortion obsessed transing kids promoting “non binary God” man is more Christian than all the dedicated prolife Christians who he used to pretend to respect. https://t.co/G8ocVoebiy
