POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by an older man on a bus.
Officers have released CCTV images of the man who is believed to have assaulted the girl on the number at More Bus in Poole.
The victim was travelling on the bus in the Hamworthy area at around 7.50pm on 25 January 25.
Poole police believe the man approached her and kissed her on the cheek without her consent before returning to his seat.
Constable Alice Beavon said: “This was an upsetting incident for the young victim and we have been carrying out a thorough investigation into what happened.
“I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we are looking to identify as part of our enquiries and would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
