TOWIE star Bobby Norris has revealed his swollen and bruised face after undergoing a face and neck lift.
The reality favourite shared a candid post-surgery update with fans, showing the aftermath of the cosmetic procedure as he begins his recovery.
The 39-year-old has had a number of surgeries in recent years and has documented his latest procedure on his social media page.
He shared a video of his bruised and swollen face on Instagram.
He pointed out his facelift, neck lift, and under-eye surgery, joking that he won’t be on the cover of Vogue anytime soon.
Bobby captioned the post: “Fresh out of surgery… ✨
“Face & Neck Lift + Lower Blepharoplasty completed yesterday.
“This is DAY 1. The real transformation happens over the next few weeks..
“Wait for the healing process.”
Concerned fans rushed to the comment section, with one writing: “Oh bobby what are you doing to yourself..hope you’re well.”
Another added; “Why put yourself through that?”
A third penned: “Oh Bobby, what you doing you were handsome as you where. Speedy recovery xx”
Speaking exclusively to The Sun after shooting Getting Lippy, presented by Slingo, Bobby said: “I’ve had an upper left blepharoplasty – so that’s an eyelid surgery – and I had my buccal fat removed from my cheeks, which are fat pads that people have in their cheeks.
“And then I had a little bit of lipo, and I’ve had that done under my chin as well, but I’m completely open book when it comes to things, as I say.”
He decided to undergo 360 degree torso liposuction following a terrifying and painful incident he suffered last November when he was struck by a motorbike in London.
Bobby’s surgeries explained
Buccal fat removal surgery, also known as buccal lipectomy, is a cosmetic procedure aimed at reducing the fullness or “chubbiness” of the cheeks.
This surgery involves the removal of the buccal fat pads, which are naturally occurring fat deposits located in the lower cheeks between the facial muscles.
Blepharoplasty, commonly referred to as eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic or functional surgical procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the eyelids or addressing issues that may impair vision. This surgery can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both.
360-degree liposuction is an advanced body contouring procedure that targets the entire midsection to achieve a more comprehensive and balanced sculpting effect.
Bobby noticed his body was changing without his regular gym sessions, so he decided surgery was the best option for him and jetted to Turkey for the procedure.
He explained: “I was frustrated that I couldn’t get in the motor and drive. I couldn’t go to the gym, which is a huge part of my life, and for me to to lose that little bit of weight… Lipo isn’t really a weight loss surgery as such. It’s not like I’ve had a gastric band or a balloon, which is more to drop serious size.”
“Some people still say surgery is a dirty word, but may I think it has got a hell of a lot better.
“If it makes you feel better, and it’s something that you’re doing for you, and it’s all for the right reasons. I have no shame in it.”
