Justin Bieber and wife Hailey Bieber‘s Friday night dinner at Sushi Park in West Hollywood ended on a sour note.
The 32-year-old singer and 29-year-old model – who were spotted on a loved-up lunch date last week – had a tense encounter with paparazzi while exiting the eatery.
After entering a waiting vehicle, Justin chucked a water bottle at photographers who bombarded the couple with flashbulbs, according to TMZ.
Meanwhile, Hailey maintained her composure throughout the stressful ordeal.
Earlier in the evening she appeared to be in good spirits as she took to Instagram to share a closeup selfie from inside a car.
The couple, who wed in 2018, are parents to 18-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber.

Per TMZ, Justin’s water bottle did not make impact with any of the photographers.
In a cover story interview with Vogue last year, Hailey said she and her husband refuse to leave Los Angeles, despite the constant presence of paparazzi.
‘There’s no leaving LA for us. We love it here,’ she declared.
And she added about their Beverly Park mansion, ‘Our house is my element, and my sanctuary. It’s where my heart is, for sure.’
Justin has had previous clashes with photographers, including one in February 2025.
At the time, the Yummy singer was approached by shutterbugs while leaving Beverly Glen Deli with his wife.
When a photographer thanked him, he became irritated and replied, ‘That’s disrespectful when you thank me, because I’m not asking you to be here, you know what I mean?’
‘I’m just saying “thank you” for everything you do for us,’ the photographer said in video obtained by TMZ.
‘I’m just saying I don’t want you to be here, so when you thank me, it’s disrespectful,’ he repeated. ‘Just take your pictures and let me do my thing, okay?’

And last June the Canadian star went viral for using internet slang to tell off a paparazzo.
‘You’re not getting it, it’s not clocking to you,’ he famously said in a heavily circulated video. ‘It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business.’
He continued, ‘I’m a real dad, a real husband, a real man. So don’t f***ing do this s**t to me, OK? I’m not to be f***ed with. I don’t know who’s paying you to provoke me, but I’m not the one.’
Amid their stardom, protective parents Justin and Hailey have maintained their son’s privacy by not sharing his face with the world, strategically only posting photos that give fans small glimpses of him.
And the couple do not bring their only child along when stepping out publicly.
