IT might be time to dig out your old Nintendo and Gameboy games as they could be worth a whopping £1,957.
Collectors are willing to pay a pretty penny for nostalgic games from the early 90s and 2000s.
From Pokemon to even games you played on the Wii, your favourite childhood pastime could help give your wallet a boost if you flog them on sites such as eBay.
However, it is important to note that you are never guaranteed to be quids in as your old items are only worth what someone is willing to pay on the day you sell.
Pokemon: Crystal Version Nintendo Game Boy Colour, 2001 – £315
This game was released in 2001 on the Nintendo GameBoy and has become a collector piece for many fans.
It is reportedly sought after as it was the first Pokemon game with animated characters.
There were also fewer of the games released than other video games released in the series such as Gold and Silver.
If you have one of these laying around you could flog it for a pretty penny.
One punter recently paid £315 for the game after fighting off eight other bids.
Sega Mega Drive 16bit Console – £202
The Sega Mega Drive was one of the most popular gaming consoles of the late 80s and early 90s, before being trumped by the Playstations and Gameboys.
If you happen to have an old one lying around you could sell on eBay for over £202.
One punter flogged the vintage toy for £202 this March after other users submitted 15 bids to get their hands on it.
Pokemon: HeartGold Version DS – £1,000
This Pokemon game was released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS and is regarded as one of the best in the series.
It is also a scarce find these days as games for the Nintendo DS are no longer made.
It was flogged for over £1,000 at the end of February following a bidding war with 32 bids.
Pokemon Silver – £92
This was another popular Pokemon game in the series released around the same time.
But this has not fetched such a high price in recent weeks, with bidders appearing to pay around £92 for the game.
Super Mario World 2 Yoshi Island SNES – £88
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) was released in the 1990s and was a popular gaming system for many youngsters at the time.
As it is no longer in circulation, many of the games sell for higher than their value on eBay.
Recently, one of the Super Mario World Yoshi Island games sold for £88 after three bidders tried to get their hands on it.
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for Wii – £260.70
The Wii was one of the most beloved gaming consoles for kids and adults in the 2010s. And some games can fetch you a high sum on eBay.
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is a tactical role-playing game and part of the Fire Emblem series.
It was released in 2007 and has become highly sought after by collectors due to its low production during a time when the franchise was less popular.
One of the games recently sold for £260 on eBay, but you may not always get such a high sum as another seller only managed to get £56 for the game earlier this month.
