
COVENTRY’S Championship clash at Bristol City was stopped for five minutes due to a medical emergency in the stands.
The incident occurred midway through the second half of the game at Ashton Gate Stadium.


Medics were frantically summoned to the away end, made up of 3,409 Coventry fans.
Concerned supporters flagged them to a fan who was suffering a medical issue in the stands.
Play was halted for five minutes as docs attended to the stricken supporter.
The fan’s condition remains unclear.
But play was swiftly resumed and the game allowed to finish.
