THIS is the moment terrified diners dive for cover as a hit man sprays a packed restaurant with bullets, shooting an innocent nine-year-old girl in the head.
Harrowing footage shows customers frantically scrambling to the floor as gunfire erupts inside a busy Bistro in Dalston, London.
Panicked people can be seen desperately trying to shield themselves from bullets as the shooter speeds off on a stolen Ducati Monster motorbike.
The attacker, believed to have been employed by the “Tottenham Turks”, had been targeting three men from a rival crime group, the “Hackney Turks”.
But an innocent schoolgirl was caught in the crossfire as she sat eating ice cream with her family, leaving a bullet lodged in her brain.
The youngster from Birmingham had travelled to London for a family trip when the horror unfolded inside Evin Restaurant on Kingsland High Street in Dalston on May 29, 2024.
A gunman on a motorbike opened fire during what detectives later described as a “planned assassination”.
The attack was linked to a bitter feud between Turkish gangs in north London.
Six bullets were fired into the restaurant with one striking the child in the head and leaving a bullet lodged in her brain.
Nearly two years has passed since the shocking attack and the gunman has still never been caught.
Cops are offering a £15,000 reward for information which leads them to track the shooter down.
Earlier this week, the girl’s devastated parents spoke about the moment their lives were torn apart.
Her father told ITV: “It has just shattered our life and we can never join it back the way it was before.”
The family said their daughter’s life was turned upside down in an instant following the shooting.
They said their once energetic child, who loved activities like choir, gymnastics, fencing and swimming, is now unable to walk or speak.
Recalling the chaos, her mother said: “Suddenly there was quite a lot of noise. At first it sounded like firecracker or a motorbike.”
She described how customers scrambled for safety as chaos erupted.
The mother added how people were diving under tables while she realised her daughter had been badly wounded.
Her father added to ITV: “It was just a gang war for them. But it is destroying common people’s life in a fraction of second.”
Three men sitting at a nearby table, believed to be linked to the Hackney Turks organised crime gang, were the intended targets of the hit.
All three were wounded in the attack and rushed to the Royal London Hospital.
There they underwent emergency surgery for gunshot wounds to the thigh, leg and backbone.
The schoolgirl later had several intensive operations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, beginning the day after the shooting.
While the suspected shooter remains on the run, one man involved in the plot as a spotter and getaway driver, has been jailed.
Javon Riley, 33, of Tottenham, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to the girl and attempting to murder the three men.
The hired spotter and getaway driver, who had links to the Tottenham Turks gang, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 34 years.
But detectives say the hunt for the gunman is still their top priority.
Cops are offering a reward of up to £15,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of whoever pulled the trigger.
Speaking at The Old Bailey, Detective Inspector Ben Dalloway, who led the investigation, urged people to come forward.
He said: “Javon Riley’s actions traumatically altered the trajectory of a little girl’s life.
“While this outcome serves as a slither of justice, the dangerous individual responsible for pulling the trigger remains on our streets.
“Those who ordered this shooting are a highly sophisticated criminal organisation.
“We understand that people may be worried about talking to us because of this, but it is imperative we hear from anyone who can assist this investigation.
“Justice must be secured for this little girl and her family.”
