Willie Mullins has revealed the huge news as he delivered a devastating injury update.
The 2023 and 2024 champion will not get the chance to reclaim his crown this year after finishing as a runner-up last time out.
Mullins told Sporting Life: “After working very well on Thursday morning, he wasn’t right on Friday morning and will miss the Gold Cup and the other spring festivals.”
